Behind the Seams: a semester of style
Have you always dreamt of designing your own fashion collection? This is the class for you. This 15-week session is all about creating a mini collection of your very own. We will learn about important figures in fashion history, explore various fabric manipulations and surface design techniques, draw fashion illustrations, develop patterns, make samples, conduct fit sessions, and sew up a final mini collection that will be shown at our student-produced runway show. If you love fashion and are comfortable sewing on a basic sewing machine, you won't want to miss out on this class.
Fall session will begin on August 14th.
Final fashion show for both sessions scheduled for November 21 from 5-6pm.
Payment plan: must pay 25% deposit up front. Remaining amount will be split into three equal payments of $150 due Sept 1st, Oct 1st and Nov 1st.
