Couture camp

Campers will learn to bead, embroider, and appliqué luxurious fabrics like chiffon and satin before integrating those techniques into their own designs. Campers will explore fashion illustration, textile rendering, and croquis development to use to create their very own design portfolio.

Techniques will be applied to accessories, and an apparel item like a skirt or capelet.  

No sewing experience needed.

June 29-July 2, 9am-noon

Ages 12-18

Your fashion camp instructor is Alisa, who has been in the fashion industry for over 20 years, working in children's wear, women's wear, costume design, and currently owns trekALLa. She taught fashion design courses for over a decade at colleges throughout Texas and has been leading fashion camps during the summers since 2008.  She has two kids, a dog named Waffles, and a husband who is used to finding random spools of thread all over their house.
