
Tailoring and personal fit class
Tired of your clothes not fitting? Have you acquired a ton of thrifted clothes and you're just not quite sure how to make it fit you? This class is for you.
This class is designed to teach you how to take clothes apart and make them fit you. We will tackle linings, how to shorten the crotch of pants, add pockets, alter waistbands, hem and so much more. We have all the machines you need, but it is recommended you have at least two garments that you'd like to alter.
Some sewing experience necessary.
June (5, 12, 19, and 26th): Class meets on Friday evenings from 5-7pm.
July (11, 18, 25 +Aug 1) - Class meets Saturday afternoons from 4-6pm.

Your instructor is Alisa, who has been in the fashion industry for over 20 years, working in children's wear, women's wear, costume design, and currently owns trekALLa. She taught fashion design courses for over a decade at colleges throughout Texas and started offering fashion camps for kids during the summers while in grad school. She has two kids, a dog named Waffles, and a husband who is used to finding random spools of thread all over their house.
