"Imagine being outdoors, the sun warming your skin and the breeze dancing through your hair whispies as your face is raised to the sky on a gorgeous autumn morning. As you open your eyes and continue trekking down the trail the endorphins are flowing and the calm surrounds you. Just as the tranquility of it all takes your breath away, your pants roll down and the breeze hits your lower back because the shirt and pants no longer cover it all. The calm departs and you remember the anxious feeling of your insecurities; how your body must look to other hikers in clothes that fit 2 minutes ago.
That’s how I felt in activewear before trying Trekalla. With Trekalla my body didn’t feel the excessive or invasive movement other activewear had. I felt free to move my body over rocks, through sand, on top of gravel and across the grass. I finally felt like my clothes moved with my body instead of trying to compress it into submission. My thighs didn’t eat the fabric because the fabric allowed me to be free.
Lightweight, fashionable, size inclusive, and sustainable. Those are all things many of us look for when selecting activewear. Alisa gave us that. I can be confident in not only my ability to move in my clothes, but also be confident in my clothes ability to move with my body.
Base Layers keep me warm with the recycled materials woven into the fabric. Tank tops and trekker tops keep me cool while still allowing me to protect my tattoos from the sun and the bamboo blend is softer than anything I’ve felt. It feels good to feel good in my activewear when I’m on a trail, walking the dog or even tending to my homestead. The icing on the cake is the knowledge that I’m leaving an environmental footprint that’s smaller than my hiking boots and farm clogs leave in the dirt.
Trekalla gave me the confidence I’d lost when moving my body outside. It’s become by go-to company for all of my activewear."
