
Costume Design 101
From cosplay, to theatre, and everything in between, this 8 week course is designed to help stretch your imagination and create incredible costumes. We will study fabrics, using alternate materials (like cardboard and magazines!), study some costume history, and sew much more.
Sewing machines and some supplies included. You will need to provide your own fabric for the final project.
Fall Session 1: ages 12-17, meets Wednesdays from 5-6pm, August 12- Sept 30
Fall Session 2: ages 6-12, meets Thursdays from noon-1:30, October 8- Dec 3 (no class on Thanksgiving)

Your instructor is Alisa, who has been in the fashion industry for over 20 years, working in children's wear, women's wear, costume design, and currently owns trekALLa. She taught fashion design courses for over a decade at colleges throughout Texas and has been leading fashion camps during the summers since 2008. She has two kids, a dog named Waffles, and a husband who is used to finding random spools of thread all over their house.

No refunds for cancellations; spots can be transferred to another camper if the need for cancellation occurs. Please contact us immediately at trekallaapparel@gmail.com if this happens. In case of hurricane, camps will be rescheduled for an alternate date.
